As with all our plastic derivatives, PEEK GF30 offers the same performance characteristics as our standard material, VICTREX™ PEEK 450G™.

Overview:

The addition of glass fibre increases the performance characteristics even further. PEEK GF30 combines high rigidity with superior dimensional stability, providing very high stiffness and improved toughness. This performance plastic has the best static load over extended periods in higher temperature service. Tipped tooling is necessary when machining due to the material's glass fibre content.

Service Temperature:

PEEK GF30 functions well at continuously high service temperatures. For long-term service, the plastic will operate well at a temperature range of -20° C to 250° C. Short-term temperature service is 310° C. PEEK GF30 has a melting point of 343° C.

Use in Motorsport:

Typical motorsport applications for PEEK GF30 include strut mounts for front and rear suspension, fuel line insulators and gear link bushes. The product should be considered for applications requiring high rigidity, consistent elevated temperature performance and a tendency for low creep.
