Net Zero Journey

Reducing carbon emissions

Race teams in Formula 1 are now actively committed to net zero emissions, and are actively working towards these goals.

As a responsible supplier, we are following suit and working with a third party consultancy firm to achieve net zero status by 2030.

This is a detailed process where will firstly evaluate our business processes and map out where we can make emission savings to reduce our overall carbon footprint. Once completed, we will instigate an implementation plan to drive forward our net zero initiative to completion.

Our net zero journey sets out our aims to be carbon neutral by 2030.

Working in Partnership

We have partnered with Auditel to achieve our net zero goals.

Auditel is a leading cost, procurement and carbon solutions company, based in the UK. Auditel's aim is to work with Smiths High Performance to achieve independent verification of carbon neutrality.

We are working to reduce our carbon emissions, targeting net zero by 2030. We will develop relationships with suppliers who are also striving to reduce their carbon impact.

Why is it important?

We all have a responsibility to lower carbon emissions.

While Smiths High Performance already has certain green initiatives in place relating to recycling and sustainable packaging, we recognise that we need to go much further, event to the extent of looking at how we transport and receive goods. We not only see the journey to Net Zero as an initiative; we see it as being business-critical.

Our net zero journey will cover all aspects of our business, including the way we transport and receive goods. We take climate change seriously and believe we should play an active part in lowering carbon emissions.
