Stainless Steel Alloys
Strength & corrosion resistance
Stainless steel alloys are popular in motorsport engineering.
Stainless steel offers benefits in numerous applications due to material benefits including corrosion resistance and heat resistance. Certain stainless steel grades also provide good strength and impact toughness.
By virtue of the alloy's performance characteristics, stainless finds use in applications such as turbo chargers, exhaust systems, manifolds and coupling rods. With an aesthetically pleasing finish, it can also find use for more cosmetic purposes such as trims.

Fit for Purpose
Our stainless steel range is selected specifically for motorsport applications.
We stock a standard range of high-performance stainless steel alloys, which are available, ex-stock. These alloys typically benefit from high torsional and tensile strength, while providing a good degree of corrosion resistance, and increased hardness after heat treatment.

Stainless Steel Alloy Range:
PH Steels
Precipitation hardening stainless steels
PH steels are popular in motorsport engineering for use in fasteners and valve parts. Typical attributes include good corrosion resistance, high strength and good ductility. Stress-corrosion resistance is also a benefit.
