Smiths High Performance (Smiths HP) is a leading stockholder and supplier of high-performance engineering materials to the global motorsport sector.
We are a trading division of Smiths Metal Centres Ltd and were established in 2001, to provide a focus for a small number of existing customers that required a particular range of products and a "partnership" level of service.
Today we are a multi-million-pound turnover operation with a greatly expanded customer base and an ex-stock range of high-performance materials that are amongst the best in the World. From Formula 1 to MotoGP, we dominate the market in the supply of high technology materials to enhance performance. Being part of the Smiths Group affords our business many crucial advantages.

We take advantage of the substantial buying power the group has; this allows us to purchase materials in bulk quantities to get the best possible prices.
We are also part of one of the most extensive materials distribution networks in the UK, allowing us to provide next-day services, using our vehicle fleet, to nearly any part of the country. We have access to a wide range of skills from purchasing through to metallurgy (including a UKAS accredited materials testing laboratory); this allows us to offer a complete assistance package covering almost any issue.
