Smiths High Performance is a stockist of PEEK plastic products which offers race designers increased design options. In some instances, our motorsport plastics offer improved characteristics when compared to alloy alternatives. We supply PEEK flat bar products on an ex-stock basis for shipping worldwide. All of our PEEK product grades are available in flat bar and are part of our Ultimate range.
We cut PEEK flat bar at our processing facility in Biggleswade. PEEK offers excellent dimensional stability even after processing. The product differs from plate products by courtesy of the width, which is less than 8 inches.
Our products include several options starting with the unmodified version. Different variants include the introduction of carbon fibre, glass fibre and one with additives giving the end product self-lubricating characteristics. Each has specific performance characteristics which give racing car designers more design flexibility.
We extend the same quality principles to our plastics as we do to our alloys. All plastic products are barcoded for complete traceability. We offer rapid response times for all our motorsport customers, regardless of whether they are based in the UK or further afield.
