We provide tube cutting services from our dedicated processing team. Our tubes are cut using bandsaws, and in the case of magnesium are cut dry. There is no need for coolant due to the materials lower cutting resistance (around 55% of aluminium).
As any machining residues produced during the cutting process are highly flammable, we ensure that all dust, powder and swarf is safely stored and recycled. We cut magnesium tubes to exact lengths in compliance with your requirements. We can handle tube cutting operations from 12mm diameter up to 200mm with a tolerance of +/- 0.3mm on the cut length and a minimum wall thickness of 20swg.
