Forging Methods
We generally supply forgings to our motorsport customers using open die forging methods. The grain structure, fatigue resistance and strength all improve during this process. It is an ideal method for creating components of significant size since the only restriction is the actual size of the aluminium block itself. Secondary machining and tolerance refinement may be necessary to achieve compliant specifications.
